The Bush Crime Syndicate

President Bush should be sent straight to Guantanamo, along with Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Wolfowitz, their deputies, lackies, secretaries, and, yes, Karen Hughes too.

Or, better yet, send them all to Iraq.

As for Bush, at the very least our course of action should be clear:

Impeach the bastard.

Judith Miller Goes to Jail

So Judith Miller of the New York Times is going to jail for refusing to reveal a source for an article she never wrote. Yes Miller's reporting on WMDs in Iraq was atrocious, often relying on "anonymous government sources" that pumped the Times and its more gullable readers with misinformation in the lead up to war. But the fact of the matter is that the man who wrote the article that outed undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame, wife of Ambassador Joseph Wilson, is staying right where he is. The man is Times columnist Robert D. Novak, and he has kept mum throughout the proceedings against Miller and Times colleague Matt Cooper.

Interesting.

And now we know that the secret source was none other than Karl Rove.

Surprise surprise.
